Flyin' Tiger Field (81D) is located on the Houston Sectional,                   about 10 miles north of Brazoria County Airport (LBX).

From Houston, take Hwy 288 South (toward Freeport-Lake Jackson).  You will cross the 610 loop south.  When you cross Hwy 6, you will see an exit labled County Road 48 NORTH.  This is in the Iowa Colony area.  DO NOT TAKE THIS EXIT!  You still have about 21 miles to go before your exit.  Continue south on Hwy 288.  When you pass the exit for FM 1462 (Alvin-Rosharon), you're almost there.  The next exit is County Road 51.  After this is County Road 48 SOUTH.  There is a flashing yellow light.  Take this exit to the left.  Cross over Hwy 288 onto County Road 48 South.  Travel 1.1 miles to County Road 49.  There is NO stop sign.  Turn left onto County Road 49.  You will notice a CR 49 sign and a yellow "Dead End" sign.  Travel 1.1 miles on County Road 49.  You will cross a bridge & the road turns to rock before you reach the airport.  You'll drive past 1 grass runway and a Live Oak tree farm before reaching our driveway on the right.  It's a long, concrete drive leading up to the hangar.
